A few months ago I decided to kick my Diet Coke habit. I did really well for about 2 months. Then for some reason, I started up again. I don't remember why though. I do remember that the first few days were tough. The withdrawl headaches were intense.

I haven't had a Diet Coke since Sunday. For the past two days, my head feels like it is going to EXPLODE!! I know I need to cut back. I've been addicted since it first came out in 1983, my junior year of high school. But this is my coffee. I wake up with a Diet Coke. I feel like I literally need one at times. I guess this is my drug.

Anyone know where I can go for Diet Coke rehab???

First off, your fridge (I guess that's your fridge in the picture?) looks like one from MTV Cribs, where the people are never home and so they just have massive amounts of beverages in there!

Second, I'd have to join you - for Coke Zero rehab. I get a craving for those things - and I've already had one this morning!

I am more of a Diet Pepsi person. I had to give it up for medical reasons...but then my surgeon retired...so...shhhh. don't tell!

Ugh, the caffeine withdrawl headaches. I used to get those a lot. I saw a couple doctors about the headaches until I figured out it was just the caffeine.

Diet Coke rehab, snort!

I don't drink soft drinks at all very much...I drink mostly water, juice or milk. I DO have the occasional coke or pepsi though.

But I have a question: I heard someone else talking about a Diet Coke addiction (I think it was on TV), where they would have 12 or so cans a day -- But I never hear of anyone addicted to regular Coke. Is it just "Diet" Code that's addictive? Is there more caffeine in it or something?
