Remember this? Well, unfortunately today we had a similar incident. But this time it was our fault. Kari, scraped a car in the parking lot at work. She calls me in tears, while she waited for the owner of the car to come out. Yes. She did the right thing. She didn't run away and leave the other person stuck with damages that are not her fault. We tought her well. Yes, it's going to cost us. But you know what? Although we are not rich and it's not just a drop in the bucket, we are rich in other ways. Primarily in having kids that choose to do the right thing and stand up to their mistakes.
Now I hope that the other person does the right thing and not try to over inflate the estimate.

Poor Kari and Yay Kari for doing the right thing. And just let the insurance companies figure out the estimates and crap.
I think it's so great that she stayed to face up to what she did. That says volumes about her morals. Way to go!
It probably would've been easier for her to pretend she wasn't involved, but you must have raised her right!
