So here you go Melissa! This is my mommy. I would say this is about 1949 or so. The scan is not very good & there seems to have been stuff n the flatbed, but it's all about the bow anyway!
Almost every picture that I have of my mom has her in one or even two bows! I am so glad that by the time I came along they were reduced to ribbons. But then my poor girls came along around the time when those barrettes with tons of ribbons & stuff were in style. The other picture is me with my ribbons and my girls one just in piggy tails & the other in one of those gaudy barrettes. What was I thinking!

Can you believe, when I was a little girl I had big, loosely woven yarn around my pony tails? What were we thinking?
